What is RDI-LB and what is a RDI?

RDI-LB stands for Registered Digital Installer Licencing Body.  It is a government backed scheme to provide trusted, qualified engineers, who will help enable the UK’s Switchover to Digital Television.  The aim of the scheme is to provide a Gold Standard for the Aerial Industry and to help drive out the ‘cowboy’ operators.

RDI stands for Registered Digital Installer and each Engineer has to pass strict criteria for registration to enable them to prove their competence in the industry.  They are also required to pass a CRB Check and are Fully Insured.

The RDI-LB are there to protect you from ‘Rogue Traders’ and to help you find a reputable Installer.
